Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday 3rd November,2018, in her 88th year. Dearly loved daughter of the late Arthur and Jean Pilcher and beloved sister of Margaret Freeman and the late Alexia Pickering. Dearly loved wife of the late Lynn Tait and Fred Ashworth. Much loved mother and friend of Graeme and Carol Tait, Andrea and Mark Brennan, Liz and Chris Cowell, Brian Tait and daughters-in-law Sandra and Kate. Dearly loved step mum of Lea and the late Dave Bentley, Vivienne and Brian Rodden and Toni and Chris Lawson. Devoted Nana of her 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at St Mary’s Anglican Church, 329 Halswell Road, Christchurch, on Monday 12 November, at 1.00pm.
