BUCHHOLZ, Klaus Ernst Günter: (formally of Dunedin) On October 8, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at Christchurch Hospital, in his 88th year. Klaus passed away with courage and dignity. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, much loved and respected father and father-in-law of De-Arn (Dunedin), Jan and Murray Kingham (Auckland), Niki (Christchurch), and Tamara (Christchurch), loved and very special granddad of Christine and Nick, Matthew, Damien and Hannah, Charlotte and Danielle and great granddad of Jessica, Kate, Paige and Marlie, dearly loved eldest brother of Werner and Manfred Buchholz (Berlin, Germany). Klaus was treasured by all of his family in Germany. Loved brother-in-law of the late Evan and Leonie Greene; Michael and Carolyn Greene (Waipukurau), and their families. Auf Wiedersehen Dad we will miss you every single day. In keeping with Klaus’s wishes a private family farewell and celebration of a precious life will be held in Dunedin.
