Obituaries

FOWKE, John Charles: passed away peacefully, at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on July 3, 2024, aged 79 years.  Loved husband and soulmate of Margaret, loved father of Michelle, and Mathew, father-in-law of Craig, cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.  A loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.  John will be sadly missed.  Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late John Fowke, C/- PO Box 39127, Christchurch 8545.  A big thank you to the staff of the Haematology ward at Christchurch Hospital for their love and care.  In accordance with John’s wishes, a private cremation has been held
