Obituaries

TWOSE, Claire Marian: Died peacefully on April 11, 2023, aged 88 years.  Much loved wife of 42 years of the late Ernie, mother and mother-in-law of Megan and Paula, Simon and Deborah, Matthew and Alison, Andrew and Patricia, and grannie of Kimere, Saimoni, Melini, Eseta-Claire, Laura, Imogen, Evie, Frances, Samuel, and Emeri. An indefatigable gardener, conservationist, traveller, and giver of advice.  All communications to the Family can be left on Claire’s tribute page at http://www.tributes.co.nz. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Forest and Bird Society.  A private family Service will be held for Claire, and she will thereafter be laid to rest in Kaikoura Cemetery, next to Ernie, facing the seawards Kaikoura mountain range.
